Talus Leader was the designated callsign for the commander of the Talus Group within the New Republic Defense Fleet. In the course of the Galactic Civil War, a person bearing this callsign participated in a battle that trapped the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer named Victorum within the skies of Yavin Prime. With assistance from Captain Wedge Antilles, who commanded Vanguard Squadron, along with a boarding party, they successfully seized the vessel and repelled Imperial backup forces.
