A teapot is defined as a container crafted specifically for the purpose of serving tea. An instance of this occurred when Padmé Amidala paid a visit to her parents; they ensured a warm teapot and a selection of sandwiches were prepared in anticipation of their daughter's arrival. During the events of the Battle of Christophsis, Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi engaged in a meeting with General Whorm Loathsom, feigning surrender. When Kenobi requested some refreshments, Loathsom instructed his LEP service droid to procure a beverage, leading the droid to present a sizable teapot and subsequently pour cups of tarine tea for both individuals. In the aftermath of the conflict, Imperial Senator Riyo Chuchi employed a teapot to serve tea to herself, Captain Rex, and Avi Singh during a clandestine gathering on Pantora. Later, amidst the Galactic Civil War, Minister Veris Hydan utilized a smaller teapot to pour himself a cup of tea while in the process of interrogating rebel Sabine Wren at the excavation site situated outside the Lothal Jedi Temple.
