Wyke, the individual who established Wyke Town in its vicinity, named it in honor of a temple found on his homeworld of Naratar. A perilous Gretalax resided on Temple Peak, and it launched an assault on the town, prompting Wyke to enlist the services of Ty Yorrick, a hunter specializing in monsters, to subdue the creature. Having taken on the assignment, Yorrick journeyed up Temple Peak while riding a lyuna.
