Naratar, a terrestrial astronomical body, served as the original homeworld for the human individual named Layton Wyke. Furthermore, a temple was located on Naratar. By the time period of 231 BBY, Wyke had departed from Naratar and subsequently founded Wyke Town on the Galactic Frontier planet called Loreth. He also gave the name Temple Peak to a mountain on Loreth, in remembrance of the temple that existed on his planet of origin.
During that particular year, while in conversation with Ty Yorrick, a monster hunter, regarding a Greta that Wyke had commissioned Yorrick to kill, Wyke recounted his act of naming the mountain after the temple situated on Naratar. Subsequently, KL-03, the hunter's associated protocol droid, conducted a records search and found no documented evidence of a Jedi temple present on Naratar. As KL-03 attempted to communicate this finding to Yorrick, the signal became disrupted, causing the message to be incomplete.
The mention of Naratar occurred within the first issue of the comic miniseries titled Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures — The Monster of Temple Peak, which was released in 2021 as a component of Phase I of the larger Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project. Cavan Scott wrote the issue, and IDW Publishing released it to the public on August 11, 2021.
