A race of humanoid species inhabited the forested world of Bri'n. Although many of these beings cherished the numerous trees blanketing their home, the Metal Clan plotted to eradicate these revered plants. To accomplish this during the Republic Era, the Clan schemed against Th'er, the Priestess of Wood. Yet, their laws forbade the Metal Clan from damaging Bri'n's trees unless they had the Priestess' consent or her blood. As negotiations between the two groups escalated into conflict, Th'er was taken to Coruscant, where Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn persuaded her to request assistance from the wider galactic society.
