The Adasca BioMechanical Corporation of Arkania

Adascorp, or the Adasca BioMechanical Corporation of Arkania, was a significant medical entity originating from that world. Renowned for its groundbreaking work in bioengineering and medical advancements, Adascorp maintained alliances with both the Draay Trust and the Czerka Corporation. Under the ownership of the prestigious House of Adasca, it generated substantial profits for the planet, leading to the development of Adascopolis.

For a considerable number of years, Adascorp's central operations were based aboard the enormous starship named Arkanian Legacy. However, this vessel was lost, along with Lord Arkoh Adasca, during his unsuccessful attempt to seize galactic power via Operation Dark Harvest. The disappearance of the ship, along with its extensive research archives and facilities, significantly hampered Adascorp's research efforts, setting them back by decades. Compounding the issue, the absence of a clear successor to Arkoh's controlling stake led to prolonged disputes over the company's ownership. Aurora, Adasca's niece, was the rightful heir, but in her absence, the Draay Trust initiated proceedings to acquire Adascorp.

During the period of the Cold War, Adascorp collaborated with the Republic Strategic Information Service and Jedi Master Jun Seros in orchestrating a scheme to capture the bounty hunter known as the Grand Champion of the Great Hunt. This was achieved by presenting a seemingly genuine offer, where they proposed credits in exchange for the hunter sponsoring their new line of adrenals on Quesh. Upon the bounty hunter's arrival, they encountered the Director of Public Relations, who was, in reality, an SIS agent in disguise. Subsequently, Mako remarked on the offer's legitimacy, and the Grand Champion noted that Adascorp was working with the Republic to apprehend them. Later, the bounty hunter received an email from the Adascorp Director of Galactic Relations, apologizing for "an incident that occurred during your recent visit to our Quesh refinement facility" and offering some credits as a "complimentary gift to make up for your visit being cut short."
