"The Force Calls to Rey" represents the thirty-ninth installment of the Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures series. Its initial release occurred on March 13, 2020, via the Star Wars Kids channel on YouTube.
The scene opens on the desert planet of Jakku, where Rey is seen making her way to her speeder, which is parked near the remains of a destroyed Imperial Star Destroyer. A voice-over narration describes Rey's fate, stating that she is destined for significant achievements within a "galaxy of adventures". While Rey is observing a starship taking off, Maz Kanata advises her to shut her eyes and become receptive to the Force.
The video then transitions to Rey navigating the Starship Graveyard on her speeder. Following this, the scene changes to Maz Kanata presenting Luke Skywalker's lightsaber to Rey at her castle located on Takodana. As Maz explains to Rey that the lightsaber was previously wielded by Luke and his father, the video cuts to Rey handing the lightsaber back to Luke Skywalker on Ahch-To.
As Luke pivots his head, Maz informs Rey that the lightsaber is now calling to her. She urges Rey to accept it. The sequence concludes with a series of brief clips showcasing Rey activating and brandishing the lightsaber.
