The Magys's companion

The Magys were escorted back from their world, which had been ravaged by a civil war instigated by Haplif of the Agbui at the behest of the Grysk "Jixtus," by a male associate. During their travels on their starship, they encountered the planet Rapacc, the homeworld of the Paccosh, who offered refuge to the displaced individuals. The Magys, convinced that their world had been obliterated, expressed a desire for themselves and their followers to experience death and transition to the Beyond as a means of restoring it. Her companion carried out this request, resulting in his own demise.
