This establishment offered alcoholic beverages, food, and a vibrant atmosphere with blaring music. In the year 230 BBY, a group consisting of Coruscanti individuals – Alees June, Loran, Ellyt, and Sym – along with Jedi Padawan Amadeo Azzazzo, made their way into the Uzzu. June requested a tall, blue colored beverage, while Azzazzo chose to enjoy some moonberry juice. As they settled into a booth and engaged in conversation, their peace was disrupted by the sudden arrival of Bing (Bing), June's ex-boyfriend, who angrily confronted her for ignoring his attempts to contact her. He made an aggressive move towards her, but Azzazzo intervened with a counter-attack. Bing, quickly defeated, retreated. June, impressed by the Jedi's actions, expressed her gratitude, and Loran suggested that she should offer to buy him a drink as a token of appreciation.
The Uzzu is featured within the narrative of "The Call of Coruscant," a concise story penned by Lydia Kang. This story was included in The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life, a compilation released in 2023.
