Moonberry juice, a drink enjoyed by humans, was a light pale pink beverage, enriched with vitamins, and derived from moonberries, making it potable. The planet of Coruscant was home to the Uzzu, a club that offered this beverage during the High Republic Era. In the year 230 BBY, Amadeo Azzazzo, a Jedi Padawan, expressed gratitude for possessing sufficient credits to purchase moonberry juice at the Uzzu. Later, in 228 BBY, Ghirra Starros, the Nihil Minister of Information, savored a glass of moonberry juice aboard her cruiser, the Pearl of Faretta, while positioned above Hosnian Prime. The refreshing taste prompted her to contemplate complementing it with Hosnian panroot gin sometime later.
The short story "The Call of Coruscant," penned by Lydia Kang, marked the initial appearance of moonberry juice; it was featured in the young-adult anthology The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life in 2023, which was released as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic initiative.
