Tipoca City cafeteria

A dining hall, or cafeteria, existed inside the Tipoca City Military Complex, serving as a place where clones consumed food.

History

Constructed by the Kaminoans prior to 22 BBY, the cafeteria was a spacious area within the Tipoca City Military Complex.

In 22 BBY, Taun We and Lama Su escorted Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi on a tour of the military complex, informing him that the production of the clone army was at its peak. During this tour, they observed clone troopers as they ate food in the cafeteria.

The Bad Batch starts a food fight in the cafeteria.

In 19 BBY, not long after the reorganization of the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire, several standard clone troopers and Clone Force 99, consisting of Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Crosshair, and Echo, were eating in the cafeteria. The enhanced female clone Omega joined Clone Force 99, expressing her fondness for them due to their shared status as misfits. An unidentified clone trooper passing by taunted the group, referring to the "defect squad" and their new recruit. In response, Omega threw food at the clone trooper, demanding an apology to her friends. Despite his bullying of Omega, Hunter instructed him to leave. As the clone walked away, he called Omega a "lab scrabber," prompting Wrecker to hurl his tray of food at the clone, triggering a massive food fight.

Initially, Crosshair attempted to enjoy his meal, but he joined the fray after Echo was thrown onto their table, subsequently hitting numerous clones with his tray. Admiral Wilhuff Tarkin observed the chaos from above with disapproval. During the fight, a clone trooper struck Echo in the head with a tray, causing him to lose consciousness.

Subsequently, all Imperial personnel were withdrawn from Tipoca City. Vice Admiral Rampart, acting under Tarkin's orders, ordered the city to be bombarded by three Venator-class Star Destroyers. The resulting turbolaser fire destroyed the supports holding up the city, leading to its submersion into the ocean.

Behind the scenes

The Tipoca City Cafeteria was first seen in the 2002 movie Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, which is the second film in the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
