Trabzon Road existed on the Outer Rim world of Akiva. During 4 ABY, Temmin Wexley, a junk dealer, pilfered a crate from a transport that belonged to Surat Nuat, a crime lord, after it had crashed there. Because of this, Nuat dispatched several of his henchmen with the intention of both punishing Wexley and retrieving the stolen goods. Nevertheless, the junk dealer and his B1-series battle droid, Mister Bones, were able to overcome the henchmen, aided by Wexley's mother, Norra Wexley who was a New Republic pilot. Subsequently, Temmin instructed Mister Bones to dispose of the criminals' corpses at the point where Trabzon Road met the Kora Biedies river.
Chuck Wendig mentioned Trabzon Road in his 2015 novel, Aftermath, which served as the initial book in the Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.
