Trehla Keelo was a Human female residing on Tatooine during the period of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Trehla Keelo made her home in Mos Eisley. She could often be found in the vicinity of the spaceport, offering assistance to spacers and those newly arrived in Mos Eisley, a city she viewed as a wretched hive. Her wide circle of contacts, encompassing figures such as Mayor Mikdanyell Guh'rantt, the entertainer Allura, the medic Kazen Harn, and the Quarren named Gendra, allowed her to aid these spacers in securing respectable employment.
In the year 1 ABY, Trehla Keelo began collaborating with a spacer who had recently landed on Tatooine, having fled an Imperial space station with the help of Darex Rath, one of her acquaintances. Through this spacer's involvement, she learned of a gathering of Tusken Raiders near Mos Eisley, planning an attack on the city. After a confrontation with the Tuskens in Junktown, she sent the spacer to Mos Espa to inform Trace Lyson, a journalist, about the impending danger. It was later revealed that Jabba the Hutt, a crime lord, was instigating the Tusken Raiders to attack Mos Eisley, hoping to put pressure on the mayor and ultimately seize control of the city.
Trehla Keelo also had a connection to Vourk ver'Zremp, an individual employed within Jabba Desilijic Tiure's criminal empire. Despite her disdain for the Hutt crime boss, she made an effort to support those forced to work for him. Consequently, Vourk ver'Zremp frequently directed new recruits of Jabba to her. Also, in 1 ABY she provided assistance to a spacer who had arrived on Tatooine alongside Han Solo from Tansarii Point Station.
Trehla Keelo existed as a non-player character within Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online role-playing video game released in 2003. The game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011.
Trehla Keelo was incorporated into the game with the release of "Publish 17," which went live on May 26, 2005. She offered a series of introductory quests designed to guide new players, appearing on Tatooine after completing the "New Player Tutorial," in selecting their "profession." However, the game's initial stages underwent significant changes with the launch of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005. As a result, Trehla Keelo's questline was replaced by a single, skippable, and very basic beginner quest.
