A male Human named Tripp D'jek fought for the Rebel Alliance's army during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the events of the Battle of Yavin, Tripp D'jek served as a Rebel trooper within the Rebel Alliance's army.
During 1 ABY, an accident occurred at an Imperial Research and Prison Facility located on the planet Dathomir. The Blackwing virus, which was being researched at the facility, broke free from its containment and devastated a large portion of the population, transforming them into ravenous undead beings. As a consequence, the Galactic Empire quickly established a Quarantine Zone in an attempt to control the spread of the infection. The few individuals who managed to survive the initial outbreak found themselves trapped within this Quarantine Zone. To survive, these survivors established camps to defend against the constant attacks from the undead and to seek safety while awaiting rescue.
Upon learning about the incident on Dathomir, the Rebel Alliance sent a small team of Rebel soldiers, including Tripp D'jek, to investigate the Imperial Research and Prison Facility and attempt to rescue any survivors. However, the Rebel team was quickly ambushed by undead stormtroopers and suffered significant losses. When some Rebel soldiers began exhibiting symptoms of the virus, the rescue missions were called off, leaving the remaining Rebels stranded within the Quarantine Zone. Tripp D'jek eventually found refuge in Camp Gamma, alongside the Rodian named Kyra 'Naa and the Bothan named Oona Wran.
Sometime later, a spacer arrived at Camp Gamma, delivering a radio to Tripp D'jek. This radio was sent by Jeb Maris, an Imperial pilot stationed at Camp Alpha, who had decided to create a communication network between the camps. After radios were delivered to all five camps within the Quarantine Zone, the survivors were able to effectively coordinate high-altitude supply drops from external sources.
Within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, Tripp D'jek was featured as a non-player character. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. Tripp D'jek was introduced to the game in "Game Update 14," also known as the "Death Troopers" update, which was released on October 12, 2009.
