Tritt Opan was a human male who was a member of the First Order's naval forces. He held the captain's rank and worked with General Armitage Hux's staff, functioning as his personal assassin to kill anyone who could be a potential danger to the general; some of his tools included a phony code cylinder loaded with poison. Because he knew about and participated in these assassinations, he kept quiet about it, understanding that Hux could eliminate him later if he chose.
Patrick O'Kane played Tritt Opan in Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, a 2017 film that is the second movie in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. The reference book Star Wars: The Last Jedi: The Visual Dictionary, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo, was the first to reveal his first name.[1]
In the 2020 reference book Star Wars: Book of Lists by Cole Horton, the character of Captain Moden Canady was erroneously labeled as Tritt Opan.
