This regent of the Galactic Republic asserted his invulnerability to mortal death due to his supposed birth from the nebula's cosmic dust. The Arakurth species made their home inside this nebula. During 35 ABY, Poe Dameron executed a short hyperspace skip with the Millennium Falcon into the nebula's Megafauna Chasm to escape pursuing First Order TIE/wi Interceptors.
