Tyrant's Test

Tyrant's Test, a novel from the Star Wars Legends continuity, was penned by Michael P. Kube-McDowell. This book serves as the concluding chapter in the Black Fleet Crisis trilogy. Bantam Spectra initially released it in December of 1996.

Plot summary

Chewbacca is in the process of training his son, Lumpawarrump, to become a warrior, but the training is cut short by the revelation that Han Solo has been captured by the Yevetha. He, along with his son and a group of Wookiees, initiate a rescue attempt aboard the Millennium Falcon.

At the same time, a movement to remove Princess Leia from her position as president has begun, which creates problems as the war with the Yevetha looms. Some people believe that Leia's motives for going to war are not entirely selfless.

Lando Calrissian, accompanied by the cyborg Lobot, uncovers secrets about the Teljkon Vagabond as it travels through the galaxy. A former Imperial governor is hot on their tail, using Lando's luxury yacht to give chase.

Luke Skywalker and Akanah awaken from hyperspace to discover they are embracing. Their investigation leads them directly into the impending conflict with the Yevetha.
