During the era of the Galactic Civil War, Darth Sidious utilized a body double, a male, to safeguard himself. Sometime following the Battle of Yavin, Sidious dispatched this double to the Arrth-Eno Prison Complex located on Coruscant. It was there that Rebel spies, with the intention to assassinate the Emperor, lay in wait. The body double met his death at the hands of Eneb Ray, but Sidious lived on, and his real objective came to light: the extermination of the Rebel spies on Coruscant, the demise of past senators, and a propaganda triumph over the Rebellion.
