During the age of the New Republic Era, an alien female held a position as a door girl. She was employed at a dance club located on Borgo Prime, where she would perform languid, individual dances with fluid motions of her body. The purpose of these dances was to draw in potential customers.
Sometime before the New Republic Era, a humanoid alien woman began working as a door girl. She secured a job at a dance club situated on the pirate asteroid of Borgo Prime. Her role involved standing at the entrance of the establishment and executing solo dances to entice passersby to enter the parlor.

Around 9 ABY, the alien door girl performed a leisurely solo dance, notable for its smooth movements and elaborate hand gestures. Simultaneously, Melna, a Theelin also working as a door girl, stood on the opposite side of the doorway. Their performance attracted the attention of a scantily dressed Twi'lek and another humanoid individual. Furthermore, the two women were observed by a group of four younglings who were lost in space after accidentally leaving their home planet of At Attin. When the boy named Wim suggested going inside the club, Fern instead insisted on going somewhere else. While the alien door girl continued her dance, Melna showed concern for the younglings' situation, stating that a pirate world like Borgo Prime was not suitable for children.
The door girl's minimal attire consisted of a dark, two-piece top and a matching skirt, along with accessories like a hairband and necklace.
The door girl's initial appearance was in "Way, Way Out Past the Barrier," which was the second episode of the live-action television show Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. The episode premiered on December 2, 2024. The character's gender was confirmed through the Disney+ audio description of the episode, which was narrated by Jedediah Barton.
