Subsequently, the undercover agent shot Micha Evon, the company's captain, which caused Lieutenant [Sairgon](/article/sairgon], the second in command, to cease the recruitment activities. Evon remained in a coma for a period of two days, but he ultimately regained consciousness. During Brand's funeral in 3 ABY, the rebel soldier and former bounty hunter brought up the Demiloch event while discussing Evon.
