Unidentified Imperial terminal officer
A male human holding the military rank of captain functioned as a terminal officer for the Imperial Army of the Galactic Empire, and was stationed at Fortress Inquisitorius located on the ocean moon called Nur. During his shift, the Imperial officer Tala Durith accessed a terminal and secretly aided the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi in infiltrating the fortress. The officer working at the terminal noticed Durith's unauthorized presence and requested her identification, escorting her away. However, once they were hidden from view, Durith murdered the officer and went back to her terminal.
Biography
The male human served the Galactic Empire as an Imperial terminal officer around 9 BBY (year), possessing the military rank of captain. He worked in a terminal room within Fortress Inquisitorius, which served as the headquarters for the Empire's Jedi-hunting group, the Inquisitorius. This fortress was situated on the ocean moon Nur, located in the Outer Rim's Mustafar system. On one day in that time, the officer was monitoring the room when Captain Tala Durith used a terminal to secretly assist the Jedi fugitive Obi-Wan Kenobi in infiltrating the fortress through an underwater access point.
The terminal officer was behind Durith, watching the computer terminals, until he realized she was using a terminal she wasn't authorized to use. The officer then confronted her, asking for identification and leading her behind some terminals. Once they were hidden from the view of others, Durith attacked the terminal officer, kicking him and twisting his neck, killing him. The treacherous officer then went back to her terminal to talk to Kenobi again, saying she had company.
Personality and traits
The terminal officer, a human male with light skin, was suspicious of Tala Durith's presence and quickly took her away from a terminal.
Equipment
The officer was wearing a gray-green Imperial officer's uniform, which included an Imperial kepi featuring an officer's disk, black gloves and boots, and a black belt with a silver buckle and compartments. He carried four code cylinders, arranged in pairs above each breast, and a rank insignia plaque on his left breast that showed a horizontal row of three red tiles followed by a blue tile.
Behind the scenes
The terminal officer was seen in "Part IV" of the Obi-Wan Kenobi live-action television series on Disney+, which was directed by Deborah Chow and released on June 8, 2022. The character, credited as "Fortress Inquisitorius Terminal Officer," was played by David Will No. No said that there were plans for a bigger fight scene between him and Tala Durith, but it was changed on the day of filming.
