Episode Four is how the fourth installment of Obi-Wan Kenobi is known. It was broadcast on June 8, 2022.
Obi-Wan Kenobi awakens to discover that he is aboard a spacecraft piloted by Tala Durith. Kenobi is cared for by Tala and her droid associate, NED-B. Kenobi recalls being escorted to safety by Tala and her allies through a series of flashbacks. Kenobi is tormented by memories of his previous encounter with Darth Vader while submerged in a bacta tank. Kenobi, in a state of panic, exits the bacta tank. Tala informs him that they are on the planet Jabiim. Kenobi inquires as to the location of Leia.
Leia, held at Fortress Inquisitorius on the oceanic moon of Nur, tells her stormtrooper captors that she is a senator's daughter and a Princess from Alderaan. The Third Sister, known as Reva, enters the interrogation chamber and declares that the Empire does not accept Jedi sympathizers. She also asserts that Kenobi is dead and that no one will come to save her.
Tala and Kenobi approach Kawlan Roken on Jabiim. Because Kenobi puts them in danger, Roken wants him to leave on the first transport. Kenobi requests Roken's assistance in saving Leia, but Roken declines. Tala emphasizes how crucial Leia is to their mission, but Roken is unwilling to risk jeopardizing their operations. Kenobi begs with Roken, but he warns that he has no idea what the Empire is capable of. Roken discusses the anguish of losing his Force-sensitive partner to the Inquisitors.

Roken eventually decides to assist Kenobi. Later, he informs Kenobi and Tala about the water moon of Nur in the Mustafar system. According to Roken's intelligence, Lord Vader is still aboard his ship, but he believes the Sith Lord is nearby. Roken's rebel allies, Wade Resselian and Sully Stark, talk about infiltrating Fortress Inquisitorius with Roken, who describes it as the Inquisitors' command center and training facility. Sully admits that they have no idea what is inside the fortress. Roken reveals that the facility is unshielded because the Inquisitors believed no one would be foolish enough to attack.
Kenobi suggests employing T-47 airspeeders to land at the facility. Sully rejects the idea because the airspeeders are used to transport sewage. Kenobi refuses to abandon a child and offers to go alone. Sully points out that Kenobi is still hurt. Tala offers to accompany Kenobi on the rescue mission, using her officer clearance to get him inside Fortress Inquisitorius. Kenobi inquires as to whether her cover is still intact, to which Tala replies that they will soon find out.
Kenobi and Tala travel to Nur aboard Tala's Imperial Light Shuttle. Kenobi reassures Tala that he will be alright while practicing levitation during the voyage. Tala claims that some things take time to heal. Kenobi responds that some things are impossible to forget. Tala responds that he must try because he cares about Leia.
Reva, meanwhile, informs a handcuffed Leia that the Inquisitors intercepted a transmission on Balnab the previous year, revealing a secret network known as the Hidden Path. The Third Sister explains that the Inquisitors discovered another safehouse in two systems. She requests Leia's assistance in locating other Path members. When Leia inquires about Kenobi's death, Reva claims he was burned to death on Mapuzo. Reva claims that the other Path members abandoned Kenobi and offers to let Leia return to her family if she reveals the Path's location. Leia replies that she is unaware of the Path, prompting Reva to reiterate her demand.
Tala's shuttle lands in Fortress Inquisitorius' hangar bay. She blends in with the Imperial officers and stormtroopers before heading to a checkpoint. When questioned by the sentries, Tala states that she has a Class C clearance and submits her cylinder. A security officer scans her cylinder but denies her entry, claiming she is outside her sector. Tala persuades the security officer to allow her entry by threatening to report him to the Grand Inquisitor and claiming she has classified intelligence.
She contacts Kenobi, who is swimming in the nearby sea with a breathing apparatus, once inside. Tala directs Kenobi to a port control that she has overridden. Kenobi swims through the port entry and subdues a stormtrooper sentry before entering the base.
Reva, meanwhile, performs a mind probe on Leia, who remains defiant. Leia releases her droid L0-LA59 while Reva is distracted. Reva, however, apprehends the droid. She reveals that she had a droid when she was younger, but it was taken from her. Tala relays information about Leia's location within the fortress to Kenobi elsewhere. Tala is confronted by an Imperial officer who is suspicious of her presence and escorts her away to verify her identity. Tala abandons her comlink, leaving Kenobi to navigate the fortress alone.
Kenobi hides inside a shaft to avoid a patrolling seeker droid and stormtroopers. Tala contacts Kenobi via her comlink after returning to her console. This draws the stormtroopers' attention, but the fugitive Jedi uses the Force to distract them. Tala assures Kenobi that she had company but has eliminated the threat, revealing that she has incapacitated the officer.
Reva, meanwhile, attempts to gain Leia's cooperation by claiming that the people she is attempting to protect are not coming for her. Reva tells Leia that she alone can save herself before repeating her question. Leia pretends to cooperate but requests that Reva promise that no one will be harmed. She inquires of Reva whether she can speak with her father. Reva orders the stormtrooper guards to prepare Leia for torture because Leia is unwilling to cooperate. Leia is defiant and vows not to reveal anything to her captors.
Kenobi, elsewhere, uses a pass to enter a secure chamber with doors marked with red Imperial symbols. He discovers the remains of several fallen Jedi, including Tera Sinube and a youngling. The stormtroopers strap Leia into a torture harness while she cries for help. Reva is determined to extract the information she believes Leia possesses through torture. The Third Sister gives Leia one last chance as the machine lights up, but she refuses to cooperate.
Sensing Leia is in danger, Kenobi requests that Tala create a diversion. As two needles approach Leia, an officer enters the interrogation chamber with a message from Tala. Reva grants Tala an audience. Tala claims that the Path insurgents operate out of Florrum in the Sertar sector, using a salvage business as a front. Tala advises the Third Sister to immediately dispatch Imperial forces to crush the network, but Reva realizes she is lying.
Kenobi, meanwhile, turns off the lights in the interrogation room. He uses his lightsaber to kill both stormtrooper sentries and free Leia from the torture harness. Leia is relieved that Kenobi is alive and informs him that she did not reveal anything to the Empire. Reva, elsewhere, inquires as to how Leia and Kenobi escaped an Imperial checkpoint on Mapuzo. Tala claims she is an Imperial spy who infiltrated the Path and that Kenobi is on Florrum.
Kenobi and Leia are pursued by a seeker droid. As Reva orders her troops to take Tala for interrogation, the fortress's klaxons begin to sound. Kenobi contacts Tala via comlink, inadvertently distracting her stormtrooper captors. This allows Tala to break free and kill them with a blaster. Kenobi uses his lightsaber to destroy the pursuing seeker droid and stormtroopers in the fortress corridors. Kenobi and Leia flee into a tunnel. Kenobi deflects their blasts as Reva, a Purge Trooper, and stormtrooper reinforcements close in on them, sealing the blast door on their end of the tunnel.
Kenobi uses the Force to delay a cracking window as Tala reunites with Leia. The Purge trooper and stormtroopers force their way through the door, and Kenobi releases the broken window, causing the tunnel to flood. The trio flee to the other side of the tunnel, which they temporarily seal with the blast door. Tala and Kenobi arrive at the main hangar. Kenobi dons an Imperial greatcoat with Leia hiding underneath.
Meanwhile, the Fifth Brother orders Fortress Inquisitorius to be locked down, blaming the Third Sister for mishandling the situation. The Fourth Sister accompanies him. Reva and several Purge troopers and stormtroopers catch up with Tala, Kenobi, and Leia before they can escape. She accuses Tala of betraying the Empire. Tala responds that this was never who she was. Reva then declares that they will die for nothing before ordering the assembled Imperial soldiers to shoot them.
A pair of T-47 airspeeders strafe the Imperial forces on the platform before the Imperials can carry out their execution. Tala, Kenobi, and Leia take advantage of the chaos to flee. Tala and Kenobi shoot down several stormtroopers and a mouse droid during their escape. Sully lands her airspeeder and evacuates Tala, Kenobi, and Leia. Reva attempts to pursue them, but Wade distracts the Inquisitor by exchanging fire with her. Reva uses the Force to hurl a rectangular explosive at Wade's airspeeder as the airspeeders flee Fortress Inquisitorius, causing it to explode. Sully is devastated, but she flies away. The Fifth Brother glares at the Third Sister before walking away.
Darth Vader, enraged, later meets with the Third Sister, Fourth Sister, and Fifth Brother. He Force chokes Reva and levitates her. Vader intends to kill her for her repeated failures. Reva, however, manages to save her life by revealing that she placed a tracker on their ship. She promises that the Empire will soon discover the location of the Path network and Kenobi. Vader decides to spare Reva.
The Fifth Brother protests, reminding them that the base was nearly destroyed. Vader warns Reva that he will not tolerate any more mistakes. Reva assures him that the tracker is properly secured and that they will be able to track down the Path fugitives.
Sully's airspeeder, meanwhile, is picked up by a larger ship. Roken inquires as to Wade's whereabouts. Sully does not respond, but Tala says that they are all soldiers now after all as Sully sits to mourn her comrade's death. Tala offers her a drink while Kenobi sits next to Leia. Leia extends a hand to her rescuer. Leia's droid Lola beeps and glows red.
