Unidentified Jedi (Sarn Starbreaker)

An adherent of the light side, this individual was a member of the esteemed Jedi Order during the era known as the High Republic Era. In the period encompassing 232 BBY to 231 BBY, when the Nihil marauder Sarn Starbreaker, holding the rank of Cloud, launched a raid against the Mandrine celestial body situated in the Outer Rim, this Jedi warrior engaged Starbreaker. During the confrontation, the Jedi used their lightsaber to inflict a lasting scar upon the Cloud's cheek. Later, in 231 BBY, during a subsequent assault on the Cyclor Shipyards led by Starbreaker, the Nihil leader recalled the earlier, unsuccessful raid and the facial wound inflicted by the Jedi.

Biography

Pan Eyta (pictured) told Sarn Starbreaker that he was lucky the Jedi did not take his head during the raid.

This Jedi knight served within the ranks of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era. In the time frame between 232 BBY and 231 BBY, the Jedi was stationed on the Outer Rim world of Mandrine when the Kiapene trading post fell victim to a raid executed by Nihil forces under the command of Sarn Starbreaker, a Cloud within the Nihil hierarchy. During this raid, the Jedi managed to strike Starbreaker's cheek with their lightsaber, leaving a permanent scar. The raid was ultimately a failure for the Nihil, as they lost eight of their own, including many Strikes, and Sarnbreaker barely escaped with his Cloudship.

Subsequent to the raid, Starbreaker was reminded by his Tempest Runner, Pan Eyta, that he should consider himself fortunate the Jedi had not taken his head, a sentiment the Cloud did not share, as he viewed the scar as a constant reminder of his failure. Later, in 231 BBY, while leading an attack on the Cyclor Shipyards in orbit around the Mid Rim planet Cyclor, Starbreaker touched the scar on his face and mentally relived the Jedi's actions during the prior raid. The Cloud rationalized that the majority of the Nihil lost were "incompetent rabble" and that the Jedi had inadvertently done him a favor by forcing him to be more selective in his recruitment process. Starbreaker intended to use the attack on the shipyards as an opportunity to settle the score for his previous defeat, but he met his end during the battle when his Cloudship was destroyed by Bell Zettifar, a Jedi Padawan.
