An unnamed world, perpetually illuminated by intense electrical storms, was discovered within the confines of the Monsua Nebula. The smuggler known as Han Solo occasionally utilized a concealed refuge situated on this peculiar world.
Enveloping the unnamed planet was a dense atmosphere characterized by powerful electrical storms, which obscured the landscape and rendered scanners ineffective. Surprisingly, the lower regions of its atmosphere were breathable, and the planet itself was a flourishing paradise, abundant with thriving plant life.
At one point, the smuggling duo Han Solo and Chewbacca experienced a crash landing on the planet's surface, unveiling the existence of a habitable environment hidden beneath the electrical storms. Solo subsequently established a secret hideout on the planet, returning to it on multiple occasions.
During a search for suitable locations to establish a new base for the Alliance to Restore the Republic, Leia Organa and Han Solo, aboard the stolen Lambda-class T-4a shuttle named Invictus, were intercepted by a pair of TIE fighters. Despite Organa's transmission of valid clearance codes, Solo's sudden maneuver led the fighters to suspect the shuttle was stolen, prompting them to open fire on the Invictus. Aware of the planet's proximity, Solo maneuvered the Invictus into its atmosphere, successfully evading the fighters. However, the shuttle's arrival triggered a probe droid, alerting Sana Starros to their presence. She arrived on the planet aboard the Volt Cobra, confronting both Organa and Solo, and claiming to be Han's spouse.

Her arrival sparked a heated exchange between Organa and Solo, who desperately attempted to convince Leia that Starros was fabricating the truth. Before Organa could board the Invictus and depart, Starros commanded her ship to fire upon and destroy the shuttle, effectively trapping the rebels on the planet alongside her. Starros revealed her plan to sell Leia to the Galactic Empire, who were awaiting them in orbit aboard an Imperial-class Star Destroyer. Subsequently, TIE fighters, accompanied by TIE bombers, descended into the planet's atmosphere and landed nearby. After Han interrupted Starros, pointing out that he too would be captured by the Empire due to his affiliation with the Rebel Alliance, Starros relented and allowed both him and Organa to board the Volt Cobra and flee the planet. They were pursued by the TIEs, but successfully jumped to hyperspace before suffering any damage.
The planet made its debut appearance in Star Wars (2015) 5, a 2015 canonical comic book authored by Jason Aaron and visually brought to life by John Cassaday.
