A terrestrial world existed within the Rarlech system situated in the Unknown Regions. The Supreme Leader known as Snoke journeyed to this planet alongside his student, Kylo Ren. While there, Snoke instructed Ren on how to harness his anger as a weapon, after which he left the planet to continue the training elsewhere.
Located in the Unknown Regions within the Rarlech system, specifically within grid square H-5 of the Standard Galactic Grid, was a certain planet. The surface of this planet was characterized by mountains, sharp tree-like rock formations, and steep cliffs. The atmosphere was of Type I, meaning it was breathable, and was prone to lightning storms.
At some point between 28 ABY and 34 ABY, Supreme Leader Snoke of the First Order made a trip to this planet accompanied by his apprentice, Kylo Ren, during a period of intense lightning. Snoke forced Ren off the edge of a cliff and then suspended him in the air using the Force, with the intention of making him feel helpless. Subsequently, the Supreme Leader released Ren, allowing him to fall toward the sharp rocks below, while encouraging him to transform his fear into strength. Before hitting the ground, Ren managed to stop his fall by using the Force, while Snoke descended a set of stairs to meet him. When Ren questioned whether Snoke would have intervened to save him had he failed, Snoke responded that Luke Skywalker—Ren's former Jedi instructor—would have used similar training methods, which would have ultimately made Ren weak. Following this, Snoke guided Ren to an Upsilon-class command shuttle to leave the planet and continue Ren's training on Dagobah, a planet located in the Outer Rim.
The comic one-shot, Age of Resistance - Supreme Leader Snoke 1, marked the initial appearance of this planet. The story was penned by Tom Taylor, the illustrations were created by Leonard Kirk, and it was published by Marvel Comics on September 11, 2019.
