The human hunter named Mosey Cimmaron, along with her mother, once possessed a ranch on the planet Koboh, complete with a barn and moisture vaporators. This ranch was plagued by a caniphant that twice demolished the barn, cleverly concealing its trail to hinder its capture. To effectively track the creature, Cimmaron and her mother inverted the function of the vaporators, saturating the atmosphere with moisture and thereby intensifying the caniphant's odor.
Following the Jedi Knight Cal Kestis' slaying of the foul-smelling mogu referred to as the Mire Terror in 9 BBY, Cimmaron recounted the caniphant's terrorizing of the ranch to him. She used this as an illustration of the significance of scent in the art of hunting.
This ranch was referenced during an optional dialogue exchange that could be triggered after the player completed "The Mire Terror" rumour within the 2023 video game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which was developed by Respawn Entertainment.
