Unidentified skin-scribe

A skin-scribe, a humanoid being, was employed during the High Republic Era. Around 230 BBY, Yarzion Vell, a Jedi Padawan and a member of the same species, went back to his homeworld and chose to honor the planet's custom of receiving a tattoo bearing the name of their most influential teacher. He commissioned the skin-scribe to inscribe the name of his Jedi Master, Lulad, in runes of his ancestor's language upon his head. Upon discovering this, Lulad instructed the skin-scribe to tattoo Vell's name on herself, explaining that a Jedi learns their most important lessons from those they instruct.

Following Lulad's death in 227 BBY, Vell shared the story of the skin-scribe and the meaning of his tattoo with his new Master, Kelnacca. Later, in 133 BBY, as Vell neared his end, he recounted the tale of the skin-scribe to his own Padawan, Ordea. The skin-scribe had green skin adorned with black tattoos on their arms and head. Their attire consisted of a white shirt, white gloves, brown pants, and brown boots, and they utilized a specialized instrument for applying tattoos.
