Ordea

Ordea, a Force-sensitive human, held the rank of Jedi Padawan within the Jedi Order during the era known as the High Republic Era. In 133 BBY, while on the planet Tozil, their Jedi Master, Yarzion Vell, faced his death. Ordea worried about the continuation of their training, a concern Vell understood, drawing parallels to his own situation following the destruction that claimed the life of his Master, Lulad. Vell shared that Jedi Master Kelnacca had finalized his training and recounted his experiences under Kelnacca's tutelage to Ordea. During their conversation, Kelnacca arrived to visit Vell, who passed away shortly thereafter. Subsequently, Ordea and Kelnacca observed a funeral for Vell, after which Kelnacca consented to become Ordea's new Master.

Biography

Ordea listened as Vell told them about his own training.

During the High Republic Era, Ordea was a human Jedi Padawan belonging to the Jedi Order. In the year 133 BBY, Yarzion Vell, Ordea's Jedi Master, was in the process of dying on the planet named Tozil. Ordea felt anxiety about who might conclude their training after his passing. As a result, Vell recounted a similar experience he underwent after his own Master, Lulad, perished during the destruction of the Starlight Beacon space station in 230 BBY. Vell revealed that Jedi Master Kelnacca had overseen the completion of his training and then shared stories of his training with Ordea. When Vell brought up his home planet's tradition of receiving a tattoo bearing the name of one's most significant teacher, Ordea expressed surprise, but Vell clarified that it was a gesture of respect. Vell then elaborated on his tattoos, mentioning how Lulad had tattooed herself with Vell's name, while Kelnacca had remained silent upon learning about them.

Vell persisted in narrating his training to Ordea, and the Padawan was once again taken aback upon hearing how abruptly Kelnacca had knighted him. Vell then clarified that, after his knighting, Kelnacca had requested that he undertake a crucial task and suggested to Ordea that they could inquire about it with Kelnacca directly. Ordea then noticed that Kelnacca had arrived. Vell managed to acknowledge his former Master's presence before succumbing to death.

Kelnacca became Ordea's new Master.

Kelnacca then lifted Vell's body and carried it outside. Ordea followed him, and together they conducted a funeral where they cremated Vell's remains. Ordea started to ask Kelnacca if he would complete their training, mentioning that Vell had indicated they had as little as six months remaining, but then stopped and apologized for the question, acknowledging that it was inappropriate given that Kelnacca had come to pay his respects. The Padawan began to depart, but Kelnacca activated his lightsaber, agreeing to take on the role of Ordea's new Master. Ordea responded by igniting their own lightsaber and affirming their readiness.
