Tozil existed as a planet of the terrestrial type situated within the galaxy. In the year 133 BBY, within the confines of a Jedi temple on Tozil, the Jedi known as Yarzion Vell faced his impending death. Ordea, his concerned Padawan, expressed worry regarding the completion of their training. In response, Vell recounted a similar experience he underwent, wherein Jedi Master Kelnacca finalized his training after the death of his own Master, Lulad. Subsequently, Kelnacca's arrival on Tozil coincided with Vell's passing. Following his death, Ordea and Kelnacca observed a funeral for Vell, after which Kelnacca consented to complete Ordea's training.

In 133 BBY, Yarzion Vell, a Jedi, was in the process of dying inside a Jedi temple located on Tozil. Ordea, his Padawan, felt anxiety regarding the continuation of their training after Vell's passing. Consequently, Vell shared a comparable experience he had encountered following the death of his own Master, Lulad. Vell explained that he became the Padawan of the Jedi Master Kelnacca and recounted the specifics of his training under Kelnacca's guidance. Vell detailed various missions he had undertaken and also elucidated the meaning behind his tattoos.
After recounting the circumstances of his knighting, Kelnacca arrived at the temple, and shortly thereafter, Vell passed away. Kelnacca then transported Vell's body outside, where he and Ordea conducted a funeral service. As they observed Vell's body being burned, Ordea initiated a question to Kelnacca regarding the possibility of him completing their training, but then halted and apologized before walking away. However, Kelnacca pursued them and activated his lightsaber, thereby consenting to become their Master.
In the year 133 BBY, Yarzion Vell and Ordea were stationed on Tozil.
A Jedi temple could be found on Tozil. Inside this temple was a bed used by Vell, surrounded by candles. The temple also featured a tower that broadened towards its peak, accompanied by several smaller towers in its vicinity.
Tozil made its debut in the one-shot comic, titled The Acolyte - Kelnacca 1, penned by Cavan Scott, illustrated by Marika Cresta, and brought to publication by Marvel Comics on September 4, 2024.
