A person who was a Snivvian male tried to depart the planet of Saleucami not long after the Galactic Empire was formed. The passenger's attempt to get on a Star Commuter 2000 transport occurred right after a holographic transmission from Imperial Vice Admiral Edmon Rampart, but he was halted by a clone trooper. The clone trooper informed him that the Empire now required a chain code for anyone traveling off-world. The Snivvian argued that he needed to board the starship and tried to fight the trooper to get on the transport, but he was unsuccessful. The clone trooper pushed the Snivvian to the ground, told him to return to the line, and the Snivvian subsequently departed. Hunter and Cut Lawquane, clone defectors, observed the whole event.
The second episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, called "Cut and Run," featured the initial appearance of the Snivvian passenger. Noshir Dalal, who also provided the voice for Vice Admiral Edmon Rampart, voiced him.
