A hatch, also serving as a boarding ramp, was located on the port side, near the front, for passenger access. Inside, there were two rows of double seats, each equipped with a seatbelt. The craft's rear section, situated directly behind the seating area, was designated as the standing area for passengers' droids, in accordance with Imperial regulations.
Ciddarin Scaleback, an information broker, along with "Tech," "Wrecker," and Omega from Clone Force 99, journeyed to the planet Serolonis utilizing a Star Commuter 2000, sometime between 19 BBY and 18 BBY.
In the year 3272 LY, ST-45, piloted by the droid RX-24, connected Lothal to Garel. During that year, the rebel crew of the starship Ghost arranged transportation to Garel aboard shuttle ST-45 as a component of their strategy to extract intelligence from Maketh Tua, an Imperial minister present on the vessel.
The Spectres utilized one of these shuttles when they went back to Lothal, intending to extract Minister Tua, who had reached out to them expressing a desire to defect from the Empire.
As late as 34 ABY, some of these shuttles remained operational, as Resistance Commander Poe Dameron transported Kazuda Xiono, a newly enlisted spy, to Castilon aboard one. Team Colossus employed one for a number of operations during the First Order-Resistance War.
