A Rodian held a commanding position within the Son-tuul Pride crime syndicate during the Imperial Era of the Galactic Empire. Sometime between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, the Empire issued a bounty targeting the Son-tuul Pride's leadership after the organization assisted Crimson Dawn, which the Empire had outlawed. Consequently, the Rodian, accompanied by several others, made their way to the Son-tuul Spaceport, intending to escape Son-tuul and seek refuge in a safe house located on a shuttle. One of the Rodian's subordinates questioned the necessity of the shuttle, asserting that the Son-tuul Pride did not flee, and suggesting they contact Yonak, another member of the organization. The leader rebuked the subordinate, stating that they were not paid to think, but to eliminate any targets they were ordered to. The Rodian then addressed the underlings concerns about running by stating that you did run when a bounty was placed on your entire syndicate, and that it was every Rodian for themselves. The leader finished by stating they had a dozen of the galaxy's best fighters defending a fortress which they were to head too, and questioned whether the underling had been overreacting.
Subsequently, another Rodian appeared, informing the leader of a tall figure standing outside the blast doors of the spaceport, requesting an audience. Before the leader could respond, the bounty hunter IG-88 forcefully opened the doors and demanded the surrender of the Son-tuul Pride's leaders for violating Imperial law, granting them twenty-five seconds to comply, after which he was authorized to use lethal force. The leader threatened the droid for attacking the Pride, to which IG-88 simply repeated he had been authorized to use terminal force if they did not comply with his request, stating they now had eighteen seconds to comply. The Rodians opened fire on the bounty hunter, terms the droid accepted and began to return fire. As two Rodians were killed, the leader stated it could not end this way, as there was only one droid. The Rodian's underling then charged at IG-88, but failed and had their neck snapped by the droid. Now alone, the leader surrendered to IG-88 and reminded the droid he had promised mercy if they surrendered. As the bounty hunter shot the leader, he informed the Rodian that his offer had expired eight seconds prior.
