Yonak, a male Rodian, belonged to the Son-tuul Pride. Succeeding his father, he harbored resentment towards Darth Vader and Sutha the Hutt for his father's demise. He was present at an auction for the Eternal Rur, an event orchestrated by Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra and conducted at the Sorca Retreat space station.
Yonak once encountered Chelli Aphra while purchasing a droid amidst unsanitary conditions. Yonak's father had been the leader of the Son-tuul Pride, the most prominent criminal syndicate on Son-tuul. However, upon his father's passing, Yonak was compelled to assume leadership.

Shortly after becoming the head of the Son-tuul Pride, Yonak represented the organization at the auction for the Eternal Rur. This was a technopathic A.I. copy of a long-dead member of the Ordu Aspectu, contained within a massive Kyber crystal. Upon arrival, he and his entourage were greeted by 0-0-0, Aphra's lethal droid, who instructed them to socialize and consume beverages until the arrival of Aphra, the auction's organizer. Yonak spotted Sutha, an agent of Jabba the Hutt and the alleged murderer of his own father, and attempted to instigate a conflict. However, Aphra intervened to prevent the altercation.
Aphra commenced her presentation of the Eternal Rur, elucidating its nature and technopathic capabilities. When a blue Cyban Front droid disputed the possibility of technopathy, Aphra allowed Rur to take control of the droid to demonstrate its abilities. Krrsantan, Aphra's enforcer, promptly destroyed the droid to neutralize any potential threat. Following the presentation, Aphra pledged to engage with each attendee individually to assess their offers for Rur. Aphra tasked 0-0-0 and his astromech companion BT-1 with the task of repairing the protesting Cyban Front droid.
Yonak and Sutha forged an alliance to enhance their prospects of acquiring the crystal. Their agreement stipulated that, should they succeed in obtaining the crystal, they would then engage in a conflict to determine which organization would ultimately possess the Eternal Rur, with Yonak representing the Son-tuul Pride and Sutha representing Jabba.
When the Shadow University ultimately won the auction, the blue Cyban Front droid, once again under the control of Eternal Rur, initiated a violent rampage, utilizing blue lightsabers and automatic weaponry to indiscriminately kill attendees. This was supposedly due to Rur's influence. It was revealed that 0-0-0 and BT-1 had implanted the Rur crystal within the blue Cyban Front droid and programmed the guns to automatically target individuals. Furthermore, 0-0-0 had notified Darth Vader about the auction, prompting the arrival of Darth Vader and Imperial stormtroopers.
As Rur began to target Yonak, Yonak and Sutha expanded their agreement to include the elimination of the blue Cyban Front droid and the acquisition of the crystal, with the understanding that they would subsequently engage in a conflict to determine its ultimate ownership. When Aphra was summoned by 0-0-0, she agreed to release 0-0-0 as part of a bargain to ensure her own survival. Yonak and Sutha strategically positioned themselves, using the dean of the Shadow University as bait for Rur. Unfortunately for the Dean, he perished when Yonak and Sutha mistook Aphra for Rur. They attempted to seize Aphra as bait, but she managed to evade their grasp.

Eventually, Yonak, Sutha, and Aphra found themselves caught in the crossfire between Rur and Darth Vader's duel, as well as the stormtroopers' battle against the guests. Yonak escaped by using someone as a human shield, and Aphra employed a similar tactic, using Sutha as a body shield. Sutha succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter. Yonak discovered a ship with all the stormtroopers guarding it dead. 0-0-0 and BT-1 arrived and revealed that they killed the stormtroopers for Yonak, but only so they could board with him.
Shortly after these events, Yonak was attacked for raiding fellow criminals with whom he previously had an alliance. They stormed the throne room, but found Yonak sitting on the throne with 0-0-0 behind him. Yonak pleaded for help, and BT-1 killed the raiders before they realized the situation. Crying, Yonak congratulated his new masters.
Yonak demonstrated a deep affection and respect for his father, motivating him to seek vengeance against those responsible for his death. However, he also exhibited cruelty, as evidenced by his willingness to use Dean as bait, and selfishness, as demonstrated by his use of an ally as a human shield to ensure his own survival. Following the events at the Sorca Retreat space station, he was reduced to a whimpering slave.
Yonak was a Rodian with green skin, one purple eye, and one cybernetic eye. He wore drab and dirty armor.
