Spalexian
The Spalexians were a sentient race that evolved on their homeworld, the planet Spalex. During the Imperial Era, when the Galactic Empire ruled, the Empire tried to mine Spalex for its valuable thorilide resources. However, the species who lived there fought back fiercely, resisting the Empire's efforts. In the end, the Spalexians successfully drove the Empire away from their planet.
