Angel Unzueta, a comic-book artist hailing from Spain, is notable for his contributions to Marvel Comics, specifically as one of the main artists, alongside Phil Noto, on the Poe Dameron series.
On September 15, 2015, StarWars.com made an announcement that Unzueta would be the penciler for Star Wars Annual (2015) 1, with writing by Kieron Gillen. Moreover, he lent his artistic talents to the Naboo narrative within two issues of the Shattered Empire miniseries. He also created the art for the seventh issue of the Poe Dameron series, and has been the artist for every numbered issue starting with issue 14.
Beyond his Star Wars work, Unzueta has also illustrated issues for Marvel series such as Cable and X-Force and Captain America: Sam Wilson, as well as for DC Comics' Titans and Green Lantern Corps.
