Detailed Plot Summary

Members of Black Squadron, alongside numerous other Resistance members, gathered to commemorate the life of L'ulo L'ampar at his funeral. Leia Organa delivered a heartfelt eulogy, subsequently inviting Poe Dameron to share his own reflections. Dameron's speech emphasized the concept of transcending physical form, specifically referencing the Force and drawing parallels to Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Simultaneously, deep within First Order territory, Terex found himself imprisoned aboard a Resurgent-class Star Destroyer. He urgently requested an audience with Phasma, asserting that he possessed critical intelligence capable of undermining the Resistance's efforts. Phasma then appeared to speak with him.

While the majority attended L'ampar's memorial, Dameron, assisted by BB-8, dedicated his time to repairing his personal starfighter. Organa approached him, seeking clarification regarding Oddy Muva's whereabouts and actions. Dameron explained that Muva had modified an escape pod and fled, but he suspected that Muva had shared sensitive information with Terex. He also noted the removal of C-3PO's memory unit.

Terex divulged the existence of the memory unit to Phasma, but she promptly destroyed it, deeming it unusable. She stated the data had been compromised by an electrical surge, and Terex recalled the moment when BB-8 had electrocuted him. Terex desperately pleaded for his freedom, but Phasma dismissed his appeals, granting him one final opportunity to request her attention.

Subsequently, Organa placed Dameron under restriction, causing him to object, citing the urgency of their current situation. Organa instructed him to reflect on the reasons for his punishment. Dameron then rejoined the others at the wake.

Terex then requested his audience, and explained to Phasma his belief in the First Order's cause. Phasma acknowledged his commitment and the potential value of his knowledge, and stormtroopers arrived to escort him elsewhere.

Dameron and Organa discussed the importance of collective effort over individual heroism, emphasizing Dameron's ability to inspire others. Organa lifted Dameron's restriction and revealed Black Squadron's upcoming mission.

Finally, Terex underwent a procedure involving a cybernetic implant, designed to ensure his complete obedience.
