Unidentified stormtrooper commander (Lothal)

In the time leading up to the celebrated Battle of Yavin, this Stormtrooper Commander found himself assigned to an Imperial installation on the planet of Lothal, a base for TIE fighters. During one of his routine patrols, he had an encounter with Sabine Wren, the Mandalorian artist known for her explosive creations and a key member of the Ghost crew, who was acting as a rebel.

Biography

A few years preceding the Battle of Yavin, the Stormtrooper Commander was stationed near an Imperial outpost where TIE fighters were grounded on the planet Lothal. In the vicinity, a Lothal native found himself confronted by the commander, who, after assaulting him, commanded him to vacate the restricted zone. Not long after this incident, Sabine Wren, a rebel operative, infiltrated the facility, drawing the attention of two stormtroopers, including TK-626, who promptly requested backup. The commander, along with several other troopers, responded to the call, initiating a search for Wren within the facility. Their search led them to discover an explosive device attached by Wren to the wing of a TIE fighter, amidst a display of graffiti art that she had painted onto the side of the ship. Wren then detonated the explosive, resulting in the destruction of the TIE fighter and covering all present troopers in paint. The resulting chaos and distraction allowed the rebel starship Ghost, on which Wren served as a crew member, to exploit the situation as a diversion, enabling it to escape undetected.
