A droid designed for weapons inspection was employed at BG-RT's Tavern and Spirits, a cantina situated on Level 1313 of the planet Coruscant, where it confiscated weapons from individuals entering the establishment. When the bounty hunter Beilert Valance guided a group of fellow hunters to the cantina, the weapons inspection droid observed the shootout that erupted after Valance killed Xonr, one of his antagonists.
During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the droid was in service at the BG-RT's Tavern and Spirits cantina, located within Level 1313 of the planet Coruscant. The droid's function was to be stationed at the entrance of the establishment, where it would gather the weapons from the patrons as they came inside.
In 1 BBY, the droid took possession of the blasters belonging to the bounty hunter Xonr. Xonr had been tracking the fellow hunter Beilert Valance to BG-RT's with the intention to kill him for violating the code of the Bounty Hunters' Guild. Valance revealed his plan to lure several bounty hunters to the cantina and proceeded to eliminate Xonr, which triggered a shootout. The weapons inspection droid observed the ensuing conflict, which resulted in the death of all the bounty hunters who had been pursuing Valance.
The droid's chassis featured plating in a variety of gray tones, along with two sensors positioned on its rectangular face. A larger, yellow sensor was placed above a smaller, red sensor. The droid was equipped with multiple arms attached to its cylindrical body, enabling it to effectively manage the weapons inspection station within BG-RT's Tavern and Spirits. After witnessing the shootout among the bounty hunters in the cantina, the droid offered a commentary on the behavior of organic beings.
The weapons inspection droid made an appearance in Target Vader 1, a comic authored by Robbie Thompson, with illustrations by Marc Laming and Cris Bolson, and published by Marvel Comics on July 3, 2019.
