A female spy of the Yuuzhan Vong race operated undercover at the Leafy Green tapcafe on Coruscant, which served as the capital world for the New Republic. Her ooglith masquer guise was compromised when the Jedi Tekli overheard a conversation between two patrons who voiced their doubts about her being Human. Subsequently, Jedi Master Mara Jade Skywalker and her nephew Anakin Solo traveled to the Leafy Green, where they engaged and captured her following a brief conflict. Despite efforts by New Republic medics to examine her and gain insights into Yuuzhan Vong biology, she chose to end her own life at the earliest opportunity to prevent any further information from being obtained.
During the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy in 26 ABY, this Yuuzhan Vong was assigned the task of working as an undercover spy on Coruscant, the capital world of the New Republic. She took a job at the Leafy Green tapcafe, where she remained until the Jedi Tekli overheard two customers expressing their belief that she was not Human. Recognizing the Yuuzhan Vong's ability to use ooglith masquers to appear Human, Tekli shared her concerns during a meeting of the Jedi Order. Jedi Master Mara Jade Skywalker and her nephew Anakin Solo were dispatched to investigate. Unable to sense her through the Force, they concluded that she was indeed a Yuuzhan Vong saboteur. After a confrontation and struggle, they successfully apprehended her. During this encounter, Jade Skywalker and Solo discovered a method to kill the amphistaff creatures utilized by the Yuuzhan Vong as weapons.
Hoping to expand their understanding of the species's biology, New Republic medics conducted an examination of the captive Yuuzhan Vong. However, to prevent the New Republic from gaining any further knowledge about her people, the Yuuzhan Vong took her own life at the first chance she had. Jade Skywalker was frustrated by this death, feeling she could have done more.
This Yuuzhan Vong possessed pale skin, noticeable bluish sacs beneath her eyes, and sparse, patchy black hair scattered across her scalp. Her face was gaunt, with a prominent scar on one upper cheek, revealing a cheekbone marked by jagged, healed fractures. She bore tattoos resembling concentric energy bursts on her forehead, and similar designs covered half of her body, converging at a point that vaguely resembled a living creature. She had extendable claws, formed from a parasitic Yuuzhan Vong creature, protruding from her knuckles. Based on the fewer bone breaks and scars compared to the Domain Shai warriors scanned at Bimmiel, Jade Skywalker believed she was a younger, lower-ranking Yuuzhan Vong assigned to undercover work to prove her worth. Despite being female, the Yuuzhan Vong's ooglith masquer disguise made her appear as a pale, Human male, according to New Republic medics. Her unnatural demeanor while wearing the masquer led some members of other species, including Rodians and Humans, to question her true Human identity.
Being a Yuuzhan Vong operative, she was proficient in combat using an amphistaff and other biological weapons of her species, such as blorash jelly. She was also fluent in Galactic Basic and utilized this language while working at the Leafy Green.
The Yuuzhan Vong's initial appearance was in the 2000 novel The New Jedi Order: Balance Point, penned by Kathy Tyers.
