When adding quotations, kindly utilize the appropriate templates found here: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Quotation_templates. Many thanks. Loqiical (talk) 23:15, 18 January 2022 (UTC) ## A Word of Caution It is important that you do not upload files unless you include all details as specified in our Image policy. The only upload tool Wookieepedia supports, Special:Upload, will guide you to input this information. If you continue to upload files without providing the required details, an administrator may block you from editing. We appreciate your understanding. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 00:00, 19 January 2022 (UTC) ## Restriction Imposed You are now restricted from editing for a duration of one day due to your continued uploading of files without supplying the necessary information, even after receiving multiple warnings. If you wish to dispute this restriction, kindly contact the administrator who imposed the block, providing your reasons for believing it to be unwarranted. 1358 (Talk) 08:08, 14 October 2022 (UTC) ## Lando's Age Hello! In reference to this modification, could you please specify which narrative in From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back gives this exact detail? Lewisr (talk) 01:12, 4 December 2022 (UTC) - It has been a month since my inquiry, and I would appreciate a response. I have searched the book and have found no mention of Lando being 41. If I do not hear back from you, I will revert the information to its previous state. Thank you. Lewisr ( talk ) 01:12, 4 January 2023 (UTC) ## Uploading Privileges Revoked You are now restricted from uploading images for a duration of one week because you have persisted in uploading files without providing the necessary information, even after receiving multiple warnings. To challenge this restriction, kindly contact the administrator who issued the block, explaining why you believe it is unjustified. If you require assistance with uploading images, please consult this tutorial or seek help on our Discord server. MasterFred(talk) (he/him) 00:55, 8 December 2022 (UTC) ## Verb Tense and Referencing Greetings! You recently modified the official article for Boba Fett and added a considerable amount of text. This text was written using present tense; however, in-universe articles should be written using past tense, as per our Manual of Style. Furthermore, each paragraph requires proper sourcing, as outlined in our sourcing policy. If you need assistance with either of these aspects, I would be happy to move your edit to the sandbox so we can refine it before re-integrating it into the article. MasterFred(talk) (he/him) 03:18, 13 December 2022 (UTC) ## Concerning Boba Fett Hello there! With regards to this modification, could you please indicate where in "Beyond the Clouds" this information about Boba's visit to Vandor is located? I do not believe it appears in that story, so your clarification would be appreciated. Thank you! 19:28, 27 April 2023 (UTC) I apologize; the information originated from ‘Lando Calrissian and Other Characters From the Galaxy’. I mistakenly copied the source box from another section of the article and believed I had updated the source to the correct book. I will correct it now! —Unsigned comment by Bespashin (talk • contribs). - Are you certain that is the correct source? Another user has indicated that it is not found in that book. Lewisr ( talk ) 12:56, 1 May 2023 (UTC) ## Ezra Bridger's Mentors Hello. If we were to use your criteria, the lists of master/apprentice relationships would become excessively long, as characters frequently receive guidance from numerous individuals. It appears you are misunderstanding the purpose of this field and interpreting it too literally. Ahsoka's brief lightsaber training with Ezra does not qualify her as his mentor or master. Listing Maul as a master/mentor is highly inaccurate; Ezra never consented to be his student, and despite Maul's claims, Ezra was never his apprentice. Regarding Hondo, I do not believe he warrants inclusion. Although they share a fondness and Hondo may have imparted some knowledge to Ezra, it is insufficient to list him in the infobox without a direct source stating he was a mentor. Lewisr (talk) 15:54, 6 July 2023 (UTC) - I am unsure of your meaning; I have never suggested it is about disliking someone or retrospectively disavowing them as a mentor. Ezra did not consider him his master during their interactions. I am not attempting to create any barriers and find your accusations rather harsh. I strive to adhere to canon and see no canonical evidence for them being mentors. Therefore, I suggested you provide a source explicitly stating they are mentors before adding them. Lewisr ( talk ) 16:52, 6 July 2023 (UTC) ## Verification Required Thank you for your contributions to Wookieepedia! Please note that your modification to Han Solo introduced unverified information to a primary article. All additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable through a reliable source, as per our sourcing policy. Unverified information is subject to reversion or deletion. For assistance with proper sourcing, please consult this tutorial or seek guidance on our Discord server. Thank you! Lewisr (talk) 15:24, 9 July 2023 (UTC) - Greetings! I noticed your recent contribution to Kanan Jarrus. Similar to the above message, please review this tutorial on properly adding references and citations. Best regards! Bonzane10 (holonet) 16:33, 8 September 2023 (UTC) ## Regarding Image Uploads Hi there! I've noticed you've been uploading several images. Kindly ensure you include the correct template and categories before uploading any more. Cheers! Bonzane10 (holonet) 18:25, 26 September 2023 (UTC) - Hello! In response to your query about a video tutorial on image uploads, Wookieepedia does not currently offer any. The best assistance I can provide is directing you to the image policy. Please familiarize yourself with the requirements for uploading an image. On Special:Upload, you will find a black textbox with a template that must be completed. It may seem daunting initially, but it is necessary to prevent duplicate uploads and to locate specific images. Cheers! Bonzane10 (holonet) 21:31, 28 September 2023 (UTC) - Hello again! As requested, I have reviewed the image you uploaded, and it is correctly done. Well done! If you have further questions about editing or uploading, please let me know. Cheers! Bonzane10 (holonet) 19:14, 29 September 2023 (UTC) Please note that unused images may be deleted to prevent clutter. Therefore, ensure that the images you upload are being used. Cheers! Bonzane10 (holonet) 01:20, 30 September 2023 (UTC) ## Hamato Xiono Article Hey there! Just to inform you, Hamato Xiono is currently being considered for a featured article nomination. It is generally preferred to raise any concerns on the nomination page, allowing the nominator to make the necessary adjustments, rather than making changes yourself. Your edit also introduced some formatting issues (likely due to the editor you are using), which would then need to be corrected. Feel free to leave any suggestions on the nomination page! Thank you. Lewisr (talk) 16:37, 3 October 2023 (UTC) ## A Word of Caution ## A Word of Caution It is imperative that you do not remove messages from talk pages or other discussion areas. All messages are considered part of the public record and must remain visible. Thank you! If you wish to remove messages from your talk page, you should archive them instead. If you require assistance with archiving, please feel free to ask, and I will gladly help. Thank you. Lewisr (talk) 21:03, 22 October 2023 (UTC) ## Information Removal Hello, Bespashin. Kindly refrain from removing sourced information without first verifying its inaccuracy. For instance, the Mandalorian episode does confirm that Ragnar was a foundling, which is why the episode was titled "Chapter 20: The Foundling" in the first place. Thank you, Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 17:52, 23 October 2023 (UTC) - Hello, thank you for your response. I recall Ragnar being identified as a foundling in Season 3, but I was unaware he was adopted by Paz. I thought a foundling was simply someone who was adopted into the Mandalorian culture. It is possible he was Paz's biological son, born outside Mandalorian society, and later adopted into it (by Season 3). Please correct me if I am mistaken. Oh, hello! Regarding Ragnar, foundlings are defined as non-Mandalorian orphans adopted by Mandalorians; it is even stated they have "not one drop of Mandalorian blood in [their] veins." Thus, Ragnar being Paz's long-lost biological son is illogical. As for the Fifth Brother issue, it is a matter of translating animated characters to live-action. Suggesting his "Pale Limeish-Gray" skin became "Greenish-Gray" over time, which are subjective descriptions, is similar to saying Dooku had a tall head during the Clone Wars, TIE fighters had smaller solar panels during Rebels, or Ahsoka's lekku shortened after Rebels. The current skin and eye color descriptions are based on the exact wording in Jedi: Battle Scars. I hope this clarifies things, Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 21:33, 23 October 2023 (UTC) ## Ghost Crew Dynamics Hello there, I am unsure who you are referring to as a mod, but Editr is not a mod, just another editor like you and me. While I completely understand the dynamic and relationship between Hera/Kanan and Ezra/the other members of the Ghost crew, they still do not fit the purpose of the field. Hera and Kanan are not adoptive or biological parents to any of the crew; they may have been parent-like figures, but they are not parents to Ezra, so we should not list them in the field. I will also remove Hera to maintain consistency. Lewisr (talk) 16:00, 30 October 2023 (UTC) - Understood. It seems some fields have been incorrectly listing certain things. While it is understandable why some things are listed, generally, unless they are adopted or biological, we should not include them. Thank you! Lewisr ( talk ) 16:26, 30 October 2023 (UTC) ## Penn Pershing Article Hello there! Just to let you know, Penn Pershing is currently being worked on with an inuse tag, so really anyone other than the editors (User:Editoronthewiki and User:Master Fredcerique) should not be editing the page. If you have any suggestions for the page, you are welcome to leave them a message either on their talk pages or the talk page for Pershing's page where you can mention your ideas/thoughts. Thank you! Lewisr (talk) 17:17, 30 October 2023 (UTC) ## Image Uploading Please do not upload files without including all the information mandated by our Image policy. The only uploading method supported by Wookieepedia, Special:Upload, will prompt you to enter this information. If you upload more files without the necessary information, it may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you for your cooperation. Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 17:19, 31 October 2023 (UTC) - My apologies, I recently proposed an image for Yularen’s infobox and rushed the image uploading process. I’ll be sure to take greater care when uploading images in the future. Thanks for the heads up! ## Regarding: Can images be re-uploaded? Certainly, I have restored the image: File:ColonelYularen.png Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 18:58, 4 November 2023 (UTC) ## Regarding: Question I didn't add any additional edit summary as it was the same exact reason as OOM's. Calling Din's long-dead biological parents the grandparents of Grogu, someone who has no biological or any other connection to them, doesn't really sound like "undeniable canonical information" unless that's how it's described in official media. Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 18:25, 12 November 2023 (UTC) - Regardless of my opinion on the matter, if one of your edits keeps being reverted by multiple editors, starting a discussion about it on the article's talk page at least would be a more productive approach. Anıl Şerifoğlu ( talk ) 19:35, 12 November 2023 (UTC) Bespashin let's please go to the talk pages and discuss things there rather than reverting to-and-fro. Edit wars go both ways. Another admin has edit-protected the articles for now so no one's editing them while everyone discuss. OOM 224 (he/him) 22:37, 12 November 2023 (UTC) ## Message Removal Hi, please be aware that removing talk page messages is against site policy. All public talk page messages are considered part of the site record and to remain visible. Thanks, Fan26 (Talk) 17:59, 14 November 2023 (UTC) ## Section Headings Hello! Just to inform you that unlike article prose, section headers (and image captions and quote attributions) are allowed to be in present tense, so "Searching for the map" is actually a valid heading here. Garven Dreis/Legends is a Featured article example of present tense being used in section headers, image captions, and quote attributions. OOM 224 (he/him) 14:14, 28 November 2023 (UTC) - Ah okay, my apologies then. I assumed being a part of the biography meant it would have been treated as in-universe imformation. Thank you for correcting me! - Bespashin ( talk ) 14:26, 28 November 2023 (UTC) Aye, to be fair it's something that isn't documented in Wookieepedia:Manual of Style#Tense (yet). No worries! OOM 224 (he/him) 19:44, 28 November 2023 (UTC) ## Restriction Imposed You are now restricted from contributing for a duration of two weeks for continuing to add unsourced information despite multiple warnings. If you wish to dispute this restriction, kindly contact the administrator who imposed the block, providing your reasons for believing it to be unwarranted. AnilSerifoglu (talk) 13:47, 30 May 2024 (UTC) ## Regarding Infobox Galleries Hello there. I noticed you've been making a bunch of edits regarding the infobox gallery. I highly suggest you read up on the policy first before making more changes, to understand what is or isn't eligible for the gallery. Additionally, I suggest you hold up for a bit regarding gallery change as we are also putting the choice of image and its ratio into consideration to give the best possible quality. It's slow, yes, but it is a new feature after all. Happy editing and cheers! Bonzane10 14:09, 19 December 2024 (UTC) ## Guidance on Infobox Image Disputes Hi, in reference to this edit summary, kindly adhere to the guidelines on the consensus policy page for initiating an image infobox vote if you wish to continue disputing the Maul infobox image changes. Wookieepedia employs image infobox votes primarily to prevent edit-warring; repeated reversions are unproductive and solve nothing; administrators intervene after the third reversion, which has occurred here. In cases of contested changes, the image present before the revert war began remains in place (this is not an indication of correctness or eventual outcome, but to maintain page stability); it is only changed after the vote concludes to reflect the winning side. This is to prevent constant warring during an ongoing vote. However, given the number of reversions, further edit-warring after this warning may result in a temporary block to prevent further unproductive behavior. This is not an endorsement of any particular edit; I have no preference, but a vote is necessary regardless.—spookywillowwtalk 03:10, 26 December 2024 (UTC) ## Regarding Baze Hi there Besphashin, I wanted to let you know my thinking when reverting your Baze Malbus skin color edit. I do feel that tan is the most appropriate description here - typically, the skin we describe as "dark" is much darker than Baze's. What are your thoughts? Wok142 (talk) 18:01, 29 December 2024 (UTC) - Hey there. I appreciate you discussing it, it makes it much more productive. I think the image in the infobox just has bad lighting. When you see [ [1] ] image of Lando Calrissian, you’d be able to make the same argument. In any other lighting, both characters have dark skin. When I see him in most other images like [ [2] ] one, his skin appears to be much darker. Bespashin ( talk ) 18:16, 29 December 2024 (UTC)' Irrespective of the infobox image, I still believe Baze has lighter skin than someone like Lando, whom you mentioned. Baze's skin is more comparable to Fennec Shand, Rose Tico, or Chirrut Îmwe (all played by Asian actors), whose skin tones are described as tan. Wok142 (talk) 18:42, 29 December 2024 (UTC) ## Concerning Dengar It's not as easy to explain in an edit summary, but Dengar was not fighting for the New Republic nor was he really affiliated with them. And helping them doesn't make him affiliated with them, Hondo Ohnaka helped the Ghost crew/rebels on several points but he's not affiliated with them. Whereas the Bounty Hunter comics really make it clear that Dengar is actually working for Crimson Dawn. And sources like Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy confirm that Dengar works for Jabba Lewisr (talk) 02:32, 17 January 2025 (UTC) - Wasn't that how he earned his pardon from them? Jas secured a deal where they’d assist them in the Battle of Jakku, and earn a pardon for their past actions. ~~ Bespashin ( talk ) 02:43, 17 January 2025 (UTC) ## Regarding Na Nawood - I think you misunderstood my edit summary on Jod. This article- Skeleton Crew Explained | Highlights from 105 "You Have a Lot to Learn About Pirates" on StarWars.com (backup link) -refers to Jod as just "Na Nawood". I'm not using it to say that Na Nawood is part of his name, I'm using it to say that referring to him as "Na Nawood", not "Nawood" is used in a source. I'm not aware of a source that uses just Nawood, but if you know one then it could be changed back. Otherwise, the page should stay be using Na Nawood. CometSmudge ( talk ) 22:03, 17 January 2025 (UTC) The article says "it’s probably best to sleep with one eye

"available as long as Na Nawood is present." I am unsure how this doesn't address your comment, as it explicitly demonstrates how he is referenced. I have cited this article on the page; therefore, unless you possess an alternative source that contradicts this, you should not be undoing properly sourced information. CometSmudge (talk) 00:06, 18 January 2025 (UTC) Once more, it's imperative that you reread my argument carefully. The website mentions him as ‘Na Nawood,’ but this does not automatically imply that ‘Na Nawood’ is his surname; it is merely a component of his full name, which the site utilizes to refer to him (though we were already aware of his name). ~~ Bespashin (talk) 00:37, 17 January 2025 (UTC) If we possess a reference that calls him "Na Nawood", and lack any reference that uses solely "Nawood", we ought to adhere to the source's usage. Furthermore, it wouldn't logically follow to address him using both his middle and last names. Even if we, for some reason, choose not to make that assumption, we are definitively certain that referring to him as "Na Nawood" is accurate, whereas the accuracy of using just "Nawood" is uncertain. CometSmudge (talk) 01:04, 18 January 2025 (UTC) ## Edits It appears to me that the optimal course of action at this juncture would be for you to cease engaging in edit conflicts. Reviewing your contributions, it seems that you are frequently involved in reverting edits due to disagreements. It would be more beneficial to utilize talk pages, either the page's talk page in question or the users' talk pages, to resolve any disagreements you may have regarding information. For instance, in the case of Jod Na Nawood and his name, you have exceeded the limit stipulated by the 3RR policy. Our collective aim is to maintain accurate information, but persistent edit warring could potentially lead to another ban, which you undoubtedly wish to avoid. Therefore, I strongly advise you to consider this approach instead of immediately reverting edits in the future. Thank you! Lewisr (talk) 22:21, 17 January 2025 (UTC) - Hello. I comprehend your statements and apologize for any potential errors on my part. However, I must emphasize that, in most instances, my perspective is never disproven, and votes often prove to be entirely futile. Consider the assertion that Din Djarin’s parents are Grogu’s adoptive grandparents. This is a valid point that directly relates to how his family functions. It’s a detail that many haven’t considered, making it a valuable piece of information (which is essentially the purpose of this wiki). However, one individual objected to its inclusion because Grogu is ‘a little green alien,’ which is irrelevant to the original point and doesn’t contradict it in any way. Nevertheless, the outcome was that we cannot include the phrase ‘Grogu’s adoptive grandparents’ on their pages, for reasons unknown. Again, I acknowledge that many of my edits appear to be reversions of previous edits. However, as an avid Star Wars enthusiast, I am committed to ensuring that the franchise’s primary wiki remains as accurate as possible. If someone is disseminating misinformation, regardless of how minor, I prefer to revert it to maintain accuracy rather than ‘accepting it’ simply because another user becomes petty about it. I observe that a significant portion of your edits involve reversions and disagreements with other people’s contributions. This is not intended as a criticism; it is your responsibility to do so. My point is that, to maintain accuracy, you will inevitably have to revert acts of vandalism. I hope you can understand my perspective. ~~ Bespashin ( talk ) 00:32, 17 January 2025 (UTC) Disagreeing about someone's name, in my opinion, does not constitute spreading misinformation. There's a clear distinction between disseminating falsehoods or adding inaccurate information and simply disagreeing about how a sw.com article refers to someone. My suggestion is that you refrain from engaging in prolonged edit wars and instead initiate discussions on the relevant user's talk page, as this is a more constructive approach to resolving issues. Regarding Din Djarin's parents, from my understanding, no one argued that the information was incorrect; rather, they felt that the parents' lack of a relationship with Grogu made its inclusion on their pages unnecessary.
