Vanya Sha, a cyborg artist who identified as female and was self-taught, is known for her creation of the "Join the SAGroup" recruitment poster. This poster, intended for COMPNOR's Sub-Adult Group, was based on an idea from Imperial Minister of Information Pollux Hax during the Galactic Civil War against the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Her artistic endeavors ceased after pro-Alliance slicers breached the data stores of her AJ^6 cyborg construct headpiece, exposing her anti-Imperial sentiments. Sha augmented her abilities by using knowledge cartridges that interfaced with her headpiece.
Pablo Hidalgo's reference book, Star Wars Propaganda: A History of Persuasive Art in the Galaxy, which was published on October 25, 2016, included the first mention of Vanya Sha.
