Varada Sethu

Varada Sethu, an actress hailing from Britain, played the role of Cinta Kaz in the television series Andor. Her character was first seen in "Aldhani," which is the fourth installment of the first season.

In preparation for the three episodes she directed, Susanna White had Sethu, along with the other actors portraying the Aldhani rebel infiltration team, study real-world rebellions and conflicts through books and documentaries. Eileen MacDonald's Shoot the Women First, which detailed how seemingly unassuming women could be overlooked yet possess the capacity for violence, significantly influenced Sethu's performance as Cinta. Although it was not explicitly written into the script, Sethu envisioned Cinta as possibly a genocide survivor.
