The Aldhani heist team, also known as the Aldhani rebel infiltration team, consisted of a rebel cell of seven humans. Six members were volunteers: Vel Sartha leading the team, along with Taramyn Barcona, Arvel Skeen, Karis Nemik, Cinta Kaz, and Gorn, an Imperial double agent holding the rank of Lieutenant. Cassian Jeron Andor, using the alias "Clem," was the seventh member. He was a paid operative forcibly recruited by Luthen Rael, who insisted Sartha accept him to proceed with the operation. Together, they devised a mission on Aldhani to steal the Imperial payroll for the entire sector Aldhani was located in, equivalent to a quarter's worth of funds.
On the day the [Eye of Aldhani](/article/eye_of_aldhani] phenomenon occurred, Barcona, accompanied by Skeen, Nemik, and Andor, infiltrated the main Imperial base at the Aldhani dam, disguising themselves as Imperial Army troopers. Simultaneously, Sartha and Kaz, wearing wetsuits, approached through the water, scaled the dam, and disabled communications. Gorn facilitated the passage of the four-man squad, allowing them to take commandant Jayhold Beehaz and his family as hostages. After meeting up with the other two, Gorn covered their retreat as Sartha, Barcona, Nemik, Skeen, and Andor descended into the vault to secure the credits. Kaz guarded the hostages while the others compelled the Imperial soldiers to load the credits onto the Max-7 Rono freighter intended for their escape. However, by the time Gorn reached the vault to escape, a group of Imperials had discovered their presence.
Following a firefight that resulted in the deaths of Gorn and Barcona, Andor successfully launched the ship, although Nemik sustained critical injuries during the takeoff. After successfully evading three TIE fighters amidst the chaos of the Eye of Aldhani, a spectacular meteor shower, Sartha, Skeen, and Andor sought medical assistance for Nemik, while Kaz departed the Imperial base disguised as an Imperial officer. Nemik's life could not be saved, and when Skeen proposed that he and Andor abscond with the stolen funds, abandoning Sartha, Andor shot and killed him. He informed Sartha of his actions before claiming his share and leaving.
