Following the Battle of Yavin, Ventil Tamplin, along with Lilea Norith, spearheaded a band of Ragtag cudgel-users within the urban sprawl of Doaba Guerfel. In the year 1 ABY, they subjected the petty criminal Lilith Laughlin to harassment, harboring suspicions that she served as an informant for the Corellian Security Force. Their suspicions proved accurate, as Laughlin indeed collaborated with CorSec. During CorSec's investigation into the criminal syndicate known as the Chirq Council, Captain Vitala Baize required intelligence from Lilith Laughlin. Consequently, she dispatched an operative to address the Ragtag issue. The CorSec agent engaged the Ragtag cudgel-users who were troubling the informant, eliminating several, including Ventil Tamplin.
Ventil Tamplin appeared as a non-player character inside the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment, and distributed by LucasArts. The game shut down on December 15, 2011. Ventil Tamplin was introduced to the game via the "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives" update, which was released on June 8, 2006.
