The group known as Vexx's Crew consisted of Human individuals employed by Vexx, a Corellian smuggler and skilled gunslinger. They operated during the Cold War that occurred between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. In the year 3643 BBY, some members of this crew went with Vexx to the spaceport located in the town of Jiguuna on the planet of Nal Hutta. While Vexx was getting ready to board a shuttle inside one of the spaceport's hangars, a bounty hunter who was after the bounty placed on Vexx's head launched an assault on the crew members who were guarding him. The hunter defeated many of them and ultimately succeeded in killing the smuggler.
Vexx, a Corellian smuggler and expert with a blaster, had the criminal organization known as Vexx's Crew working for him. He always needed a consistent supply of henchmen and thugs. This group had a diverse collection of Human members, like a dozen mercenaries, a half-dozen thugs, a trio of hired guns, and Vexx's bodyguard. The bodyguard fought with a vibrosword, whereas the thugs, mercenaries, and hired guns all used blaster pistols.
During the Cold War era, which was a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, Vexx and his crew were active. After robbing fifteen Imperial pay stations in 3643 BBY, Vexx spent some time in the town of Jiguuna, which is located on the planet Nal Hutta. As a result, a bounty was issued for his capture. While in Jiguuna, the smuggler stayed in a secure location, where he used a datapad to reserve tickets for a shuttle that was leaving from Jiguuna Spaceport the following day. The next day, he left the safehouse accompanied by three hired guns acting as his guards. However, while he was gone, a bounty hunter looking for information about Vexx broke into the building and killed the three men inside to prevent them from escaping and alerting Vexx. The hunter then found the datapad and discovered Vexx's shuttle reservation.
Before his shuttle departed, Vexx dedicated time to working on the craft within a hangar at the spaceport, protected by twelve mercenaries, six thugs, and his bodyguard. The bounty hunter then gained entry to the hangar and launched an attack on the crew. The hunter killed at least fifteen of them to deliver a clear message: working with outlaws like Vexx would result in death as long as the hunter was around. The bounty hunter then confronted Vexx directly and eliminated the smuggler.
The 2011 massively-multiplayer roleplaying game Star Wars: The Old Republic was the first appearance of Vexx's Crew. In the bounty hunter class bonus missions "Sending a Message" and "Clear out Vexx's Safehouse", players must eliminate members of the crew.
