Victor-wing Fighter

The Victor-wing Fighter represented a starfighter model deployed by various criminal groups during the Imperial Era. A notable incident occurred in 1 BBY when several Victor-wing fighters executed an ambush against the smuggling ship known as Windfall after the freighter had illicitly acquired a spice shipment from the Hutt Clan. By the time of 3 ABY, Crimson Dawn utilized Victor-wing Fighters within the space encompassing both the moon of Toshara and the planet of Kijimi. These specific Victor-wing fighters displayed the distinctive red color scheme associated with Crimson Dawn.

In 35 ABY, a Victor-wing Fighter was among the vessels comprising the Citizens' Fleet that participated in the Battle of Exegol. It provided support to the Resistance forces as they combatted the Sith Eternal forces. The Victor-wing Fighter was equipped with eight diminutive sublight engines, a hyperdrive system, four forward-facing laser cannons, and a remotely operated dorsal quad ion cannon turret.

Victor-wing Fighter concept art

Originally, the design was conceived for Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens (2015) to serve as the primary spacecraft for the criminal syndicate Kanjiklub; however, it was ultimately omitted from the theatrical release. Due to a lack of time, the ship's design was made by combining the parts of other ships. The fighter made its debut in the 2018 film, Solo: A Star Wars Story. Later, the ship was identified in the "Every Ship in the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy" video, which was published on the StarWarsKids.com YouTube channel in 2020.

Initially, the ship was designated as a "V-wing," a name that could cause confusion with the V-wings featured in the prequel trilogy. To resolve this ambiguity, and because several models with the same name already existed, it was subsequently renamed after Victor Starspeeder, a character that Jarrett J. Krosoczka created for the Star Wars: Jedi Academy series of novels.
