Villa Solis

Villa Solis served as the secluded getaway for the Hapan aristocrat Ducha Galney of Terephon. This residence was situated amidst a 200 kilometer expanse of marshland, nestled within the country's isolated moors, rendering aerial access the only viable option.

History

In the year 40 ABY, Queen Mother Tenel Ka dispatched Jedi Knights Jaina Solo and Zekk with instructions to engage in discussions with the Ducha, seeking her backing against the impending coup d'etat that jeopardized the Queen's position. Regrettably for the pair of Jedi, Ducha Galney was also a member of the Heritage Council, the group masterminding the plot to assassinate the Queen. She evacuated her villa before the Jedi's arrival, stalling them with her riding companion, Entora Zar. During this delay, she ordered a squadron of Miy'til bombers to obliterate their starfighters. After her guard droids failed to eliminate the intruders, she attempted to completely destroy Villa Solis with bombs, in a futile attempt to eliminate them.

Layout

Characterized by its unadorned design, the villa comprised several low, domed circular structures constructed from white gratenite. Access was granted through a crodium gate, guarded by a pair of droid sentinels. Within the central enclosure, beyond the towering outer wall and the gate, the buildings stood in close proximity, interconnected by gratenite-paved ground. A subterranean hangar was located nearby, nestled beneath the gratenite cliffs that formed part of the villa's construction. As Villa Solis was the preferred hunting lodge for the Terephon nobility, it featured tanning facilities, roasting pits, and a community of murgs residing in a cave network near the cliffs.
