The Miy'til starfighter was a unique combat vessel exclusively used by the Hapes Consortium. Within the Hapan Royal Navy, this fighter served as their primary air superiority asset.

Due to the craft's diminutive size, Hapan engineers were compelled to miniaturize a significant number of its internal components. It incorporated an Astromech droid to provide assistance during flight operations and for navigational purposes. Like other compact starfighters, the Miy'til possessed relatively light armament, consisting of just two laser cannons and a single concussion missile launcher. A more costly command variant of this starfighter included an additional laser cannon, a pair of ion cannons, and another missile launcher.
Each Nova-class battle cruiser was equipped with a complement of 24 Miy'til starfighters, while a Hapan Battle Dragon could carry 36 of these fighters. The Star Home, the mobile palace of the Queen Mother, housed a complement of 60 such fighters.

Following their defeat during the Clone Wars, a number of Separatist starfighter engineers sought sanctuary within the Hapes Cluster, fleeing there for refuge. Once there, they offered their expertise to the Consortium, which helped in developing new fighter designs.
Miy'til fighters participated in numerous border conflicts between the Hapans and pirates or other intruders, including the Battle of Dathomir, the Battle of Fondor, and, most notably, the Battle of Hapes against the Yuuzhan Vong. Interestingly, they fought alongside X-wings within the Hapan fleet.
Prince Isolder possessed a modified version of this fighter known as the Storm. This craft featured a turbo booster engine with a design similar to the SLAM system used on Imperial Missile Boats. This allowed it to briefly achieve speeds approximately 33% greater than the already fast RZ-1 A-wing interceptor. The Storm also featured enhanced armament, including three laser cannons, two ion cannons, a concussion missile launcher, and two thermal detonator bombing tubes.
These fighters remained in service during the Hapan Insurrection, with examples participating on both sides of the conflict. A squadron of fighters loyal to Ducha Galney attacked Jaina Solo and Zekk when they investigated her estate, and many were present during the Battle of Hapes in 40 ABY.
