Together, they participated in the mission to obtain wintrium located at the Fountain of Ancients on the planet Klatooine, but their efforts were challenged by Klatooinian guards. During the ensuing skirmish, Kaara met her demise, and the Sith faced an assault from Hutts dedicated to safeguarding the Fountain. Subsequently, Vyn Holpur, the Starstalker's Captain, along with the entire crew, including Vran, received a death sentence for their transgression against the Fountain.
