Vrell was a Trandoshan enforcer within the ranks of the Sixth Kin syndicate, functioning as a doorman for their establishment, known as Club Tarsus. This club was situated in the metropolis of Canto Bight, which itself was located on the world of Cantonica. During the year 3 ABY, the rogue Kay Vess circumvented Vrell's post in order to pilfer a counterfeit identification card from the headquarters of Sixth Kin's leader, Wen Delphis, inside Club Tarsus.
During the Age of the Empire, Vrell, a Trandoshan, was affiliated with the Sixth Kin, a criminal organization based in the urban center of Canto Bight found on the planet Cantonica. He served as a gatekeeper at the Sixth Kin's entertainment venue, Club Tarsus, specifically located in Canto Bight's South Stretch Worker's Sector. In 3 ABY, Vrell acquired a Joben T-85 repulsorcraft, which he also customized. Vrell was guarding the entrance to a corridor leading to the office of Sixth Kin's head, Wen Delphis, while she was present at the Canto Cup fathier races. At that moment, the outlaw Kay Vess infiltrated the nightclub with the intention to snatch a fake ID card from Delphis's personal space. Vess successfully evaded Vrell and obtained the identicard, which triggered an alarm, forcing her to fight her way out of Club Tarsus.
Vrell, who valued only wealth and high-velocity vehicles, was susceptible to bribery and deeply attached to his recently purchased Joben T-85. The Club Tarsus's server suggested that the Trandoshan cherished it more than his progenitor. He was characterized by verdant skin and golden orbs.
As an operative of the Sixth Kin, Vrell donned attire consisting of an azure shirt, a tan girdle, and slate-colored trousers and footwear. He also sported gilded chest protection—emblazoned with the Sixth Kin's insignia—and forearm guards. He possessed a Joben T-85 speeder.
Vrell made an appearance in the 2024 Massive Entertainment interactive entertainment Star Wars Outlaws, specifically in the initial main mission, "Beginnings." As Kay Vess, the player has the option to bypass Vrell either by deceiving him with a statement that his Joben T-85 outside is being stolen, prompting him to leave to investigate, or by offering a payment of 100 credits, which the Trandoshan considers sufficient to grant passage. The deception tactic requires first consulting with the Club Tarsus mixologist to discover his recent acquisition of the speeder; if Vrell is approached without this knowledge, Vess will falsely claim that Delphis wishes to see her, only for the Trandoshan to scoff and dismiss the fabrication. It is also feasible to circumvent any interaction with Vrell by acquiring a security pass that unlocks an alternate path to the office.
